Have you ever changed out a beauty product without thinking too much about it, only to realize later on that it kind of snuck up on you and changed your life while you weren’t paying attention? Enter Yarok’s Feed Your Volume Shampoo. Maybe it’s how I came upon this product that kept me from noticing it right away, or maybe it was my lowered expectations due to so many dashed shampoo dreams? Whatever it was, my head has been turned, and I’m noticing the change now.
About a month ago, I placed an order with a new and very awesome online retailer, Eco Diva Beauty. (Fast, free shipping over $50 and great customer service? I call that very awesome!) Due to a small mix-up with my order, I was sent the shampoo in error, and they offered to let me keep it. I thought, “cool”, and placed it in the shower next to the others. I loved the scent and consistency right away, but I was in a wash it, put it up and forget it mode at the time.
Fast forward a week or so, and I realized: Woah! My hair hasn’t felt this clean since I switched to natural shampoos. While I still love my Acure Organics shampoo, even it can’t compare to the incredible clean that I get with Yarok. I have a lot of hair and it’s gotten so long that the time it takes to wash it is …prohibitive. I previously joked that I spend half my time deciding when to wash my hair, and the other half washing it. It was kind of true, until now.
Before Yarok and Acure I was always in a “to wash or not to wash” cycle as shampoo and even no-poo dried my hair out, yet not washing left it feeling greasy. Now, with Yarok I can wash it whenever I need to, without any worries of disrupting this delicate balance. Yarok gives me the suds I crave, the best clean I can get and it doesn’t dry my hair out at all. Since I have lots of the Acure conditioner left I’ve been pairing it with the Yarok and finishing with my Shea Moisture spray, (without which my locks and comb would never maintain their friendship.)
(In black and white because I’m not wearing makeup. Don’t look at the face, look at THAT HAIR!!)
If you are still searching for a great natural shampoo with great ingredients (pictured above), try this one. If you’ve been holding out on Yarok because you too suffered shampoo letdowns and aren’t convinced it’s worth the price, think again! This one is worth it!
How the FTC wants me to declare an accidental gift, I can’t say, but here we are. You can pick up some Yarok for yourself and try out a great new retailer: Eco Diva Beauty!
How are you caring for your hair this Summer? I want to know!
