Weleda Skincare Giveaway: Almond Soothing Cleansing Lotion and Almond Soothing Facial Lotion
Hello Natural Beauties! I’ve been thinking about doing a giveaway for a very long time, and I’m finally ready. The funny thing is, I’ve known from day one what products I wanted to give away. Folks, you’re looking at my all-time, super favorite-est OMGSERIOUSLYYOUGUYZ pair of products ever. What’s that, you say? That was barely English? Well, too bad, I can’t help myself. I get really excited when I talk about this brand! Many of you may have noticed that I drank the Weleda kool-aid a long time ago, but please know that I walked, no, sprinted over to said kool-aid table on my own. Why, you ask? There are many reasons, but here are a few:
- Weleda uses plant oils, not petroleum based mineral oils, in all of their products. Plant oils offer the closest match to your skin’s natural pH and overall makeup and that keeps your skin happy!
- Weleda practices biodynamic sustainable farming and has for its 90 years of existence. Yeah, that’s right, 90. They are the grandma and grandpa of organic skincare!
- Weleda believes in the body’s natural ability to heal itself and makes products to support those abilities not to alter or fight them. You won’t find any synthetic or lab-born preservatives or chemicals in these products. You also won’t have any problems reading the ingredients label, they keep it simple and they do it right. No gimmicks!
- Weleda never uses synthetic fragrances, but that doesn’t mean their products don’t smell good. In fact it’s often the rich natural scents that keep me exploring Weleda’s product line. Every item I try is a new sensual experience.
These are just a few reasons that I love this brand, but the most important one is that I’ve had great results using their products. If I ever stray, say for the sake of a product-review, I know I can always come back and find balance with this cleanser and lotion combo. And for that, I’m grateful.
